Accessibility Statement
Last updated: September 2026
Meaningful Days is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including seniors and people with disabilities. We work to comply with Israeli Standard 5568 (Accessibility of Internet Content) at level AA, which is based on the WCAG 2.0 AA guidelines, and we aim for WCAG 2.1 AA wherever practical.
What we have done
- The site is a single, simple page with a clear heading structure and semantic HTML.
- All text meets a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 against its background.
- Body text is at least 17px on mobile and 18px on desktop, with generous line spacing, and the page can be enlarged with browser zoom.
- Every function can be operated with a keyboard alone, and the focused element is always clearly visible.
- Menus and the FAQ accordion announce their open and closed state to screen readers.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
- Buttons and links are large and well spaced for easy tapping.
- Animations are minimal and are switched off when your device requests reduced motion.
- The video behind the page heading is silent, has no sound track, and is paused when your device asks for reduced motion.
- An accessibility menu, opened from the button at the bottom left of every page, lets you enlarge the text, turn on high contrast, widen the spacing, switch to a plain font, highlight links and stop animation. Your choices are remembered on your own device.
- There are no pop-ups, no media that plays sound on its own, no time limits, and no flashing content.
- The site is available in English and Hebrew, and you can switch between them from the menu or the footer.
